Management
and cooperation: |
Goal:
The aim has been to develop a toolbox with tools for the organisation and management
of the sustainable refurbishment process by a housing company.
A conceptual process model is needed as a basis for identification, analysis,
evaluation and improvement of these tools.

|
Design
and construction: |
|
Goal:
To build methodology and tools for the refurbishment process, going from
diagnosis phase until operation of the refurbished building, and including among
other steps the brief, the design and the construction. The originality will
come from the set of sustainable criteria used all through the methodology,
representing different kinds of concerns:
-
Sustainable issues:
Environmental, Social/Cultural, Economical
-
Conventional issues: Technical,
Architectural

| Technical
Support system: |
|
Goal:
To create practical and general
working models for the selection and evaluation of a technical services system for
renovation of the technical systems in residential areas.
Work with the renewal of the technical services system shall aim to create
sustainable living in a sustainable society. The solutions should:
-
Use the natural recourses as
efficiently as possible,
-
Lead to as little environmental
impact as possible
-
Provide a
healthy and comfortable indoor climate without unacceptable costs,
-
Provide the possibility to cater
for the individual needs and wishes of the consumers (tenants).

in other countries: |
|
Goal:
To bring together housing companies in a Southern EU country and an Eastern European
country with experts, designers, contractors, local decision makers and tenant
organisations to implement the knowledge from SUREURO.
Level
1:
To disseminate the results of SUREURO by organising seminars and work
shops.
Level 2:
To adapt the different toolboxes taking into account the national context and to
assist the adopted partners by implementing these models and tools in a site of
demonstration. In each partner country, the different national partners will
start a national platform in order to spread in its native language all the
results of each national site of demonstration and to highlight the different
concrete solutions, which can be directly implemented according to the national
legislation. |
